Our mission is to bridge the gap between civilian training and professional readiness while emphasizing restraint, responsibility, and the preservation of life. Train with purpose—so you’re prepared to protect what matters most.

Montague Hall — a career law enforcement professional, military special operations veteran, and security executive with over three decades of experience protecting people, training professionals, and building organizations from the ground up.

Law Enforcement Career

Montague served as a Sergeant/Detective in the Chicagoland area, where he advanced through Patrol, Tac-Unit, Criminal Investigations, Gang and Drug Unit, and SWAT. He was assigned to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations Narcotics Group for 11 years as a Task Force Officer prior to retirement, targeting organized crime networks and leading high-risk operations and international intelligence-gathering missions in South and Central America to disrupt cartel activities. He managed dignitary protection details for government officials and executives, conducted thousands of high-risk warrants, interviewed and interrogated hundreds of violent offenders and served as a Firearms Instructor and Field Training Officer throughout his career.

Military Service — U.S. Coast Guard Special Operations

Montague served as an Operations Officer with LEDET TACLET South, the U.S. Coast Guard's elite Special Operations Division, from 1994 to 1998. He deployed across South and Central America combating narcotics trafficking, human smuggling, and terrorism. He coordinated joint operations with U.S. and foreign military and law enforcement agencies, led training missions on counter-threat techniques, oversaw dignitary security details, and managed surveillance and intelligence-gathering operations in high-stakes international settings.

Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC)

Montague served as a Firearms Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Georgia, training new federal law enforcement officers across multiple agencies including CBP, FPS, USSS, and the U.S. Marshals. He delivered high-intensity firearms training to classes of 30 to 60 students per cycle, instructs handgun, rifle, shotgun, and low-light tactics, and incorporates reality-based force-on-force training using Simunition to prepare officers for dynamic, high-threat environments.

Building and Scaling a National Security Firm

Before Global Security Solutions, Montague founded Global Security Group (GSG) in 2010 — a full-service security and investigations firm that he grew from 3 employees to approximately 400 armed and unarmed officers operating across Illinois, New York, Indiana, Wisconsin, Texas, Michigan, and Bogotá, Colombia. GSG provided security operations, firearms training, and consulting for Fortune 500 companies and government entities before being acquired by a major national security firm in 2023.

Montague also owns Blue Star Security & Training, a licensed security and training company in Florida.
